Why Ayurveda?
Ayurveda, “the Science of Life” as it is translated from Sanskrit, is a 5000 year old holistic health care science from India that is revered for it’s depth of knowledge and wide range of health areas it covers. In its simple form, a person is addressed by their Doshas – their unique combination of Kapha, Pitta and Vata. Properly balancing the Doshas can help restore the Body, Mind and Spirit.
Fitness
It’s no secret that we need the right activity and holistic health care to keep the body fit. Be honest! Are you dedicated to a holistic fitness routine that you enjoy and are excited to engage in? Are you happy with one routine, but ignoring other areas of your body’s strength and resilience?
Nutrition
Many little changes in what we eat over time will accumulate to big shifts with very noticeable results. Detoxification and replenishment with nutrient dense foods and the right supplements can cause your cravings to shift, your mood to lift and your mind to enlighten while your energy gets charged up! Enjoy what you eat AND how you feel!
Mindfulness
The most successful holistic health care includes a mindfulness practice. For example, proper Breath and Meditation restore the nervous system, clears the mind for greater focus and provides a calm feeling. Also, Yoga is a great way to keep you grounded and ready to face the day.
“I have known Cynthia Kumar since 2010… Cynthia has learned through her research and holistic practices (both hers and her pets’), that Ayurvedic principles, diet, whole food products, exercise, yoga and meditation offer a better choice than drugs, that just treat the symptoms.
If you are dissatisfied with your current health results, tap into Cynthia’s science-based research to bring your body back into balance and closer to bliss. After all, if you keep doing what you are doing (treating the symptoms), you will get the same results you already got. Schedule your personal session with Cynthia today.“
Thank you for your interest in Honest Bodies. Cynthia will reply to you as soon as possible.
Meet Cynthia
Cynthia M. Kumar, Ayurvedic Holistic Health Counselor, has known all of her life what her purpose on Earth is: to help others through her life experience. And it was intensely challenging at times! Today, Cynthia offers her life wisdom and Ayurvedic knowledge to help bring people to a state of well-being, balance and compassionate understanding of their unique conditions.
It was a blessing that Cynthia had been studying Ayurveda and Primordial Sound Meditation before the car accident in 2009 that nearly took her life and left her in excruciating pain. In addition, emotional challenges made life even more difficult after losing “Mickey” the cat, her “son” and other human family members within a couple years time. Through her spiritual connection and Ayurvedic knowledge, along with the support of her doctors and community, Cynthia was able to take herself off all of her strong pain medications and reclaim the power within through holistic health care.
Cynthia now calls Ayurveda “the Science of Life”. She lives in the San Fransisco Bay Area with her “daughter”, Minnie the cat, who was always there in the difficult years for Cynthia’s transformation to wellness.
